We are thrilled to announce that Lavoranti has been awarded the crane operations for the new Sarasota Memorial Hospital Cancer Pavilion project.
This 7-story, 200,000-square-foot facility on Waldemere Street is part of the expanding Brian D. Jellison Cancer Institute. The pavilion will include a new breast health center, outpatient surgery suites, radiation oncology, infusion services, diagnostic imaging, and integrative and supportive care. Designed by EYP Architects and built by Turner Construction/J2 Enterprises, the project also features an adjacent parking garage and a skybridge connecting to the oncology tower. Site work on this $220 million project is set to begin later this year, and our cranes will play a crucial role in ensuring precision and safety.
The equipment to be assembled includes a Wolff 8033 with an 80-meter jib and a mobile crane. We look forward to working alongside our project partners: Sarasota Memorial Hospital, J2 Enterprises, Kelley Equipment, Seaborn Steel, and AW Hughey Construction.
